 Kidogo Kenya
Kidogo Kenya means " A Little Bit of Kenya" in Swahili. These paintings come from my experience in Kenya this past September while the East African country warily prepared for a landmark democratic election. The political atmosphere was tensely uncertain yet I sought to capture the serenity and calm of the land.

As Kenya arranged for the elections and the world analyzed its impending change of leadership, I chose to focus on the landscape. The land, shaped as much by wind and rain as by Government policy, reflects the fragility of life and our mutable existence.

10% of all proceeds from "Kidogo Kenya" will be donated to SIPA
